Dear God,

I thank you for the gift of life. I thank you for the free gift of grace and mercy that you give us every single day. I know some days maybe harder than others, and some days it seems like we cry out and we cannot hear you but in your word Psalm 13:5-6 says “But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me”

This means that no matter what we see around us, we can call out to you with true hearts and express our deepest emotions to you, and you will hear us. You hear our cries, you see our tears, and you always watch over your children. We can bring you our sorrows and then delight in you because we know that your unfailing love will always rescue us when we turn our hearts to you. You are a Good Father! 

Take courage and know that God IS listening, he is near the broken hearted, and find the joy in knowing that we serve a mighty, able and personal God!

If you feel you maybe too far from the Lord, or it’s “too late”.. It’s not. There is no place that is to far from God that he can’t reach you, he will leave the 99 just to come after you. And all of heaven will rejoice!! I encourage you to turn to the father and give him your heart. You are loved, and you are his special possession!
